Grievance Officer

Under India’s Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Dhandacheck has appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints.

2. What can you report?
- Content that appears false, defamatory, misleading, or infringing.
- Harassment, impersonation, or abuse posted on the platform.
- Privacy concerns or requests to access, correct, or delete personal data.
- Problems with payments, wallet credits, or account access.
- Any other violation of our Terms of Service or applicable law.
3. How to file a complaint
Send a clear, detailed email to grievance@dhandacheck.com with:
- Your name and contact details.
- A description of the issue and the specific content or account involved.
- A link to the relevant page or comment, if applicable.
- Why you believe the content violates our policies or the law.
- Any supporting documents or evidence.
4. How we handle complaints
We will acknowledge your complaint within a reasonable time and review it promptly. If the complaint relates to unlawful content or a court/government order, we will act within the timelines required by Indian law. For other policy concerns, we aim to resolve or respond within 15 business days.
5. Content takedown and appeals
If we remove content based on a valid complaint, we may notify the affected user. Users who believe their content was removed incorrectly may contact the Grievance Officer to appeal the decision.
6. Not a law enforcement channel
The Grievance Officer handles platform-level complaints and policy issues. For emergencies, serious threats, or criminal matters, please contact the appropriate police or legal authorities directly.
