Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Dhandacheck, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. About the service

Dhandacheck lets users look up Indian businesses by GSTIN or PAN, view publicly sourced business details, and read or post user-submitted “red flags” and comments. We do not verify the truth of user comments.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under Indian law. Businesses and their authorised representatives may use the service to view or respond to information.

4. Account and verification

To post comments or unlock red-flag details, you must verify your identity through an email OTP and provide a GSTIN or PAN. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post, but you grant us a licence to host, display, and moderate it on the platform. You may not post content that is false, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or unlawful. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

6. Payments and wallet

Certain features require wallet credits. Top-ups and payments are processed through Razorpay or another payment processor. Wallet credits are non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise. We may adjust pricing or features at any time.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Posting false, misleading, or defamatory claims.
• Harassing, threatening, or impersonating any person or business.
• Using bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the service.
• Attempting to bypass security or access another user’s account.
• Using the service for any illegal purpose.

8. Intellectual property

Dhandacheck’s name, logo, design, and software are owned by Dhandacheck. GSTIN, PAN, and business details displayed on the site are sourced from public government records or user submissions, as indicated.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any business data or user content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹100, whichever is lower.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
